The real gem of this book is the accompanying CD. I could not get it to play on my computer, but I could easily access the jpg files on the disc. There are more than 300 embroidery designs. There are also templates for making the cute little gingerbread fabric house tea cozy. I only wish Aimee Ray included a CD with all of her books. It would make things so much easier. Most of the embroidery designs in this book are holiday related and about every holiday possible is included, even the Day of the Dead. There is a small embroidery stitch and quilting instruction section at the front of the book. Projects include felt elf coasters, a felt advent calendar, felt stocking ornaments, a patchwork lap quilt with foxes embroidered on it, a placemat, a pillowcase, another pillowcase, a pair of terrycloth slippers, a felt garland, a felt winter village of houses and evergreen trees (super cute), a felt tree skirt, a Christmas wall hanging, small gift bags, a felt teashop teapot cozy (super cute), and gingerbread bookmarks. The two projects I would try are the teashop teapot cozy that looks like a little gingerbread house and the felt village which looks just like that oh-so-popular Pinterest pin of the little felt fairy house.

Most of the designs are winter-y and / or Christmas-y but there are several pages at the end of the book with designs for other holidays (from Easter to Valentine's Day to Day of the Dead). Mostly small motifs and small projects.
