This series was meant to explore Batman's Detective skills in the New 52 Universe. A very good series written and illustrated by Tony Daniel.

The post reboot Batman finds himself tangling with the Joker, Penguin, and a sadistic villain called the Dollmaker in this first arc for Detective Comics. There's a bit of a gore sensibility to it, a nightmarish sort of plot, but the story and art by Tony Daniel is very strong.

Really liked this 52! Read these out of order so I know who finds Jokers face. Still don't know WHY he did it but cannot wait to find out. Wish the print was larger, hate having to squint reading these 52's and having it far into the seam of the book doesn't help.
