Ethan Hawke disagrees with the CIA use of an American military weapon. Then he steals one
and uses it to kill someone he dislikes. So drones are only bad if someone else tells you who
to kill. Then he rides off into the sunset.

The nauseating American policy of assassination by drone receives the serious critical appraisal it warrants. It features Ethan Hawke and Canada's Bruce Greenwood.

An eye opener to today's modern warfare. Also a story about the trauma that may take its toll on operators of drone strikes, where civilian casualties
often carry the least weight in an operation. So the theme is depressing in some way. Otherwise, this is a slow but fact-based film.

Every American should see this film. Most won't because they are blithely ignorant consumerist zombies under the spell of the lying, bloodthirsty Democratic elites and the lying, bloodthirsty Republican elites and their enablers in the media.

Too much unnecessary foul language, so we shut it down after a few minutes. Such script may be more realistic, but not necessary in entertainment for our population of all ages.

Modern warfare at it's "most disassociated". Good precursor to "Eye In The Sky"

Really a good film on the new type of warfare used against enemy combatants. Pilots who don't even leave U.S. soil to launch an everyday air campaign of destruction. Even when you're the good guy sometimes you're not so good.

Ethan Hawke plays a drone pilot killing people in faraway countries. Is it really OK to kill targets when they may just be civilians, women, and children? According to military rank, if given an order to kill, you must kill. But didn’t Allied Courts at Nuremburg execute government officials who said they were just following orders? Collateral damage (killing innocents, oh what a euphemism!) will seem OK to authoritarian personalities, but persons with a conscience will likely have difficulties.

Guy that made the HURT LOCKER made this. This true story is what its about now

A super film on the new age of global war on terrorism. Proof that you don't need a big budget to make films though having actors like Hawke and Jones helped. But the star was the thought provoking script.

They kill us and we kill them. I mean, does anybody here think for a solitary second that if we stop killing them, they're gonna stop killing us? It's a vicious cycle, it doesn't matter who made it vicious.
- What's the body count?
- I count six, sir. But good luck figuring out which bits go in what casket.
Ladies and gentlemen, the aircraft you're looking at is not the future of war. It is the here and fxxking now. Any time of day or night, there are dozens of these things in the sky above our theaters of operation. And most are currently working in the Garden of Eden they call Afghanistan. Where they're starting to think it's their new national bird. ... "It's not the air force, it's the chair-force," "waging a Wii war."
I mean, when I was 24, burn-out hadn't been invented yet.
