The "yet another poor innocent girl gets possessed by a big bad demon" genre is further added to by the presence of this film, which ups the ante on traditional exorcism films using biblical scripture. The end result doesn't quite pull it off, especially given the embellishment needed to sell the climax. Anyone familiar with the book of Revelations will immediately call BS on the ending of the film; for everyone else it's a decent scare for its hour and a half running time. Not bad but not great either. If you're waiting on a better horror movie this one will do for an appropriate time killer.

Better than anticipated. Age old formla works quite well when done correctly.

Story buildup was good. Some scary moments but the exorcism grows into something more in that big Hollywood fashion.
