Most Americans have never stepped foot on a farm or ranch or even talked to the people who grow and raise the food we eat. "Farmland" takes an intimate look at the lives of the farmers and ranchers in their twenties, all of whom are now responsible for running their farming business.

Found this documentary to be subtle, but effective propaganda. Yes, the poultry and cattle industry do use hormones for rapid growth and antibiotics phrophylactly against disease. The film claims otherwise. There is also a subtle discussion against the inheritance tax. Despite presenting two organic farmers who refuse to comment on non organic farming practices, the propaganda comes through clearly. Not worth watching.
