"The long-awaited debut cookbook from one of the most popular vegan food bloggers on the web After a decade of struggling with an eating disorder and subsisting on diet, low-calorie processed foods, Angela Liddon vowed to get healthy once and for all. Done with feeling sick and tired, she threw out her fat-free butter spray and low-calorie frozen dinners. Instead, Angela embraced whole foods that made her glow from the inside out. But first, she had to learn to cook-and eat-right. Five years ago, Angela started a blog, ohsheglows.com, to spread the word about her journey to health and the powerful transformation that food can make in our lives. Almost overnight, her energy and authenticity attracted readers eager to create their own positive life changes. Today, Oh She Glows attracts millions of visitors every month, making it one of the most popular vegan recipe blogs on the Internet. The Oh She Glows Cookbook is packed with more than 100 delicious recipes such as go-to breakfasts, protein-packed snacks, hearty entrées, and decadent desserts. From entre; es like the Crowd-Pleasing Tex Mex Casserole and Empowered Noodle Bowl to sweet treats like the Chilled Chocolate Espresso Torte with Hazelnut Crust and Angela's famous Glo Bakery Glo Bars, there is something for everyone. After hearing rave reviews from customers, this book is definitely worth a look. This beautifully illustrated cookbook is ideal for someone who is looking for great vegan recipes. All the side dishes alone make the book a must see. Great ideas for breakfast and snacks!

Hands down the best cookbook I have. This is my go to cookbook when I need a healthy, delicious recipe to satisfy everyone. I can't wait for her second book to come out!

I make the Green Monster Smoothie everyday for breakfast. Never get sick of it!

This is a really fun, beautifully constructed book full of colourful photographs and delicious recipes. The recipes are accessible (i.e. don't require exotic ingredients) and are appealing to every taste, vegan or not. I also tried some of the recipes and my husband and I both liked them...and he's usually a meat and potatoes kind of guy. The sweet potatoes in the enchiladas recipe really look like pieces of chicken!

I'm not a vegetarian, but I quite enjoyed this book. I made half a dozen of the recipes, and found several of them were really good, including the tex-mex casserole, the lentil cauliflower soup, and the curried vegetables.
It would be helpful if there was nutritional information included with each of the recipes (calories, protein, fat, etc).

Torontonian Angela Liddon's healthy, inspirational, vegan blog, "Oh She Glows" has become overwhelmingly popular and so successful that Avery Publishing asked Liddon to release a cookbook. In said book, the author includes over 100 wholesome, plant-based recipes and over 25 updates on reader favorites from the blog. The cookbook also contains many allergy-friendly recipes: over 90 gluten-free ones and many free of soy, nuts and sugar. Liddon packs her meals with veggies, fruit, whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts and seeds and uses neither artificial substitutes nor processed imitation products, setting her book apart from many other vegan cookbooks. Along with the delectable recipes, Liddon herself has provided the stunning, full-colour photos, one for each recipe.

From “Life-Affirming Warm Nacho Dip” to “Luxurious Tomato-Basil Pasta,” “Marinated Balsamic, Maple and Garlic Tempeh” and even “Pumpkin-Maple Pie with Baked Oat Crust,” Most recipes prove easy to tackle and can be adjusted based on personal preferences.

Perhaps the back cover best summarizes the "Oh She Glows Cookbook": "this cookbook is a must-have for anyone who longs to eat well, feel great, and simply glow!

I just made the cauliflower curry soup and it was sooooo good! I wanted to eat the whole batch. I've been following the Oh She Glows blog for a couple of years now and just love her stuff!

I thought this book fell a bit short. (In comparison, I really enjoyed the book Joyous Health which was written by a certified nutritionist.) I don't agree with the healthiness of all her recipes (100 plus) such as her use of tofu, which is known to be highly processed, or her use of wheat. But the main point of her book is vegan recipe options and she doesn't talk much about the science behind it... Though understandably probably because she is not an expert. I'm not vegan but thought she had some interesting recipes I'd like to try. As for the photos, some were pretty on their own but the picture-on-the-left and recipe-on-the right-page started to feel formulaic. Wished it looked a bit more artsy.
