In 1943, a secret government project attempted to create a cloaking device that would make warships invisible. During the first test, the USS Eldridge vanished completely, never to be found again. Seventy years later, the Navy destroyer momentarily reappears on a Pennsylvania runway allowing the sole surviving crewman to escape and a local lawman to board. What is behind a sinister reactivation of the project? Where will the massive ship materialize next? And what will become of two men trapped in a time/space catastrophe that threatens to destroy the world? Starring: Malcolm McDowell (TV's HEROES), Emilie Ullerup (TV's SANCTUARY), Nicholas Lea (TV's SUPERNATURAL), and Gina Holden (FANTASTIC FOUR).

This is one of the worst movies I have ever almost seen. I lasted about 10 minutes. The following review is for another movie of the same title released about 20 years ago. The other movie isn't great but it certainly is interesting. No artistry what so ever in this film but a good example of making the real look ridiculous. If you like over dramatized soap opera style bad acting look no further. The following review is for the other older film that can be checked out in the Minute Man System in Cambridge or Brookline. Excellent expose of hidden technology in plain sight. For modern exponents of this seeming voodoo see the videos of John Hutchenson, Mehran Keshe, Nikola Tesla, John Searl, and many others under the category of scalar energy. Also see 'Project Mockingbird' to get the full the significance of this piece of eighties schlock. W/in this context I would give 5 stars...

Not for me. Good for the Syfy Channel enthusiasts. It's hilarious that the DVD jacket says: "based on actual events". I'm not kidding -- it really does. "Actual events". Funny, I don't recall any WWII ghost battleships from limbo-land dropping onto skyscrapers... I guess that's where the "based on" comes into play... 'Artistic license'. (lol)

Hagan (holding a pistol to a gunshot Morton Salinger's face): "Where did they go. ...Which way." Morton Salinger: "Oh, I don't know... I couldn't see very well... Some dingbat shot me..." Hagan: "...Have it your way." (shoots Salinger)
