In the vein of John le Carre and Graham Greene, this contemporary international thriller follows Milo Weaver as he is drawn into a conspiracy that links riots in the Sudan, an assassin committing suicide, and an old friend who's been accused of selling secrets to the Chinese. Once the CIA and Homeland Security are after him, the only way for him to survive is to return, headfirst, into Tourism.

This story is the 1960s spy genre updated for today's reader. Milo Weaver is a tourist as a CIA agent is known in the trade. Although he's "retired" to become a family man, he is called back into service from time to time. While on vacation with his wife and daughter in Disney World, Milo is suddenly wanted by Homeland Security. As he dodges their traps, their reader is taken on a ride through the world of spies, double agents, and competing security agencies. You'll never look at national security in the same way again.

Enjoyed this the first of a trilogy of spy (tourist) Milo Weaver. The next two audio books of this series are also in the library. "The Nearest Exit" and "An American Spy".
