Giving four stars to a near perfect light weight summer read isn't the same as the same rating to more "serious" literature. For any reader of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice this is a well written re-imaging of the story updated for the 21st century, that is to say, it has sex in it, something not found in the original author's work.
I thought By Force of Instinct was good - this one is amazing. Both Darcy and Elizabeth are determined to see the worst in themselves and each believing the other would feel that way too!
This book was really well written and I felt that the book did a great job of describing the differences in how Elizabeth and Darcy might have misinterpreted things causing problems to arise and how they finally work things out. This book was a very interesting read that I enjoyed reading.
