Funny how we tend to forget and move past such a major catastrophe as time passes. This oil spill caused irreversible damage to the gulf coast and the ecosystem as a whole.

This documentary really highlights how BP and Exxon have manipulated the US government and justice system to lower their costs regarding, respectively: the Gulf of Mexico oil spill in 2010 and the Valdez oil spill in 1989.

A good look at the impact of this disaster. It will be interesting to see how the impact of this will evolve over time.
