If you were a Terry Goodkind fan, I suggest Faith of the Fallen is where you stop. If you want to un-fan yourself for life, try to read this book.

I really liked The Omen Machine. I thought it would be a stand alone book, so I was pleasantly surprised at the ending.

I despise cliffhanger endings. This book has a horrible ending .... very disappointed because I am a Terry Goodkind fan. I hope his next book completes this story line

I too have not been able to wait for the latest Terry Goodkind novel, a comeback of my favorite caracters. I was really happy that there was a next step to my favorite serie. But when I began to read and eventually finished the book, I was left with a big disapointment, almost like the plot, characters and life in the book was empty of all the flavor, essence that maked the serie of the sword of truth so extoardinary. I am really sad to say that I will not read or wait that others read the next one...

The worst part of reading a Goodkind book is the inability to put the book down until I finish.

Like most series after the third book the story loses all steam yet I love Richard and Khalan enough to continue reading

Sad to say that this is just not up to the standards of the rest of the series. Don't have high expectations and you won't be disappointed. There are some reviews on the internet that explain what went wrong.

Very disappointing - boring book

Did not enjoy this book: I skipped large parts of it, read the last fifty pages and knew exactly what the entire action of the book was. Goodkind needs to either write a shorter book, but he also needs some better ideas.

I couldn't wait for Terry Goodkind's newest novel, and picked it up as soon as I could. Sad to say I was a little dissapointed at how un-novel it really was. Now don't get me wrong, I love the characters and they all felt like themselves, like meeting old friends, but there was some thing off about this book, hence the only 3 1/2 stars.

It seemed repetitive. It felt like Goodkind had a plot in mind as well as a page number. It felt like he was stretching the story too thin over the course of the book, and really didn't focus much on the main plot of the book, and more on the main plot of the trilogy.

In my opinion he should have wrote the whole trilogy as one book. That way there is enough action and drama to easily fill a book.
