Fine doc. about one of the many small circuses throughout the world struggling to keep their way of life viable. Good, talented and hardworking people. Very different existence than mundane town life. Hopefully the small circuses of the world will never strike tents for the last time. 4 / 5

Interesting! I wander, though, why the childen were not given any schooling, nor tutoring in formal education! That made me sad! Otherwise, the film was strong on family dynamics and performance training for the circus life! I wish they've showed more of the performances on the stage.. Otherwise, a good, honest documentary..

Director Aaron Schock followed a family circus as it roamed the back country roads of Mexico, visiting one small town after the other, to deliver performance by its members, including the four children. Everyone appeared in front of the camera as naturally as they possible can - often as if the camera was not there. This is an excellent documentary that explored a life that we seldom know, while convering also the usual conflicts between a husband and a wife. Highly recommended. Spanish with English subtitles.

About a circus family in Mexico. While the treatment of the animals doesn't look great, the real focus is on the impact on the children.
