Light mysteries. Fun interactions of the team & excellent characters with no car chases, foul language, violence or gore. Seems believable most of the time. Alun Armstrong is hilarious & so versatile - he can play any role well. New series, new characters 2014 in UK will make it's way to PBS - hopefully.

I love watching this show partly because of the chemistry between the actors. It's just plain fun to watch. I like the mysteries too, although sometimes I'm left a bit confused. I also really like the theme song that the actor Dennis Waterman sings, i.e. Gerry Standing. By the way, for a time previous to this show, Dennis Waterman and Amanda Redman, i.e. Sandra Pullman, were a romantic item. Didn't last though.

The theme song is actually sung by the blonde guy so it adds fun to the show.

And the wife of Brian is actually the common law partner of the blond guy.

"Wicca Women" has got to be the sloppiest episode they made. But the others are still pretty good.

Youngsters may find them boring but senions should enjoy these old foggy detective stories in S-3.
