The alien graphics is pretty good but the story line is about as bad as I've ever seen. I couldn't wait to get done viewing it.....(ie.)"hurry up, end this thing".

I'm not a Stephen King fan [from his book], and there are several major story points which are difficult to accept or acknowledge, but a well acted and presented SF/horror movie.

I honestly wouldn't know where to begin with where this film went wrong. I'm not familiar with the source novel, I admit, but I get the impression that reading it would not help redeem this movie, in fact it would probably highlight its deficiencies all the more.

Numerous talented and charismatic actors appear in this flick, but don't be gulled as I'm sure none of them lists it very high on their CVs.

According to Wikipedia, this movie has a cult following on the basis of it being "so bad it's good", but for me sometimes bad is just plain bad, as in the case here. Don't waste your time, folks.
