A mind-bending supernatural thriller from the creators of This Present Darkness and Saint.

Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker--two of the most acclaimed writers of supernatural thrillers--have joined forces for the first time to craft a story unlike any you've ever read. Enter House --where you'll find yourself thrown into a killer's deadly game in which the only way to win is to lose . . . and the only way out is in.

The stakes of the game become clear when a tin can is tossed into the house with rules scrawled on it. Rules that only a madman--or worse--could have written. Rules that make no sense yet must be followed.

One game. Seven players. Three rules. Game ends at dawn.

It was good & drew me in pretty quickly. It got slightly confusing when it took a strange demonic turn to it. Even after reading it, I still can't understand that house.

This book is considered a horror novel. Though I do not find it horrifying others may think otherwise.

I loved this book, it was the perfect blend of scary, truth, suspense and horror. This is not like other books I've read, but definitly worth the read. I think this book really makes you think, which is why it is so important.

Creepy, dark, and absolutely amazing!! Parts are a bit weird, but overall, fantastic book. Not appropriate for younger readers.

I enjoyed this book. For the most part, the pages kept turning. However, it had that Peretti trademark lull in the middle. The outcome was somewhat predictable, but most readers wouldn't have any other way.

Very disappointing. There is a very thin line between a great combination and a mixture of oil and water when it comes to using the supernatural and religious elements in a book and this one was definitely oil and water

Suspenseful and scary! Great read, and well written. I love his writing style and he sure didn't disappoint in this story.

In classic Peretti and Dekker style, this thriller scares your pants off from the get-go. They've both mastered the art of creating creeps that set your skin to crawling before they've even done anything abhorrent (and they always do something abhorrent eventually!). Fans of the Saw movies will love the aspect of social fear and how it spreads through groups of strangers and how they handle the pressure of...well, that would be a spoiler! Check it out for yourself to see what two masters of the thriller and horror genres have in store.

Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti come together to bring you House a supernatural thriller that should definatly be read with the lights on! I enjoyed this book but to me it got to much focused on the seriel killer evil side. This is not like the usual Dekker and Peretti but still a book worth reading.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Lots of the characters start to think about the possibility of killing someone else to live. Throughout the book, people do crazing things to live.

bookgeek101 Mar 02, 2013

Sexual Content: Nothing terrible, one innuendo, and a one scene may be on a sensual side, but it is more frightning.

bookgeek101 Mar 02, 2013

Violence: The whole story line is that someone is suppose to die for others to live.

bookgeek101 Mar 02, 2013

Coarse Language: Not a lot of swearing, mostly using Gods name in vain.
