If you like musical, after watching the Phantom of the Opera & the Les Miserables, this should be a good choice. Music, singing & dancing are all finely produced.

This the first time I've seen this musical performance. I had heard a lot about it and really wanted to see it. It was absolutely amazing. The dance routines were nothing short of perfect. Amazing music (of course since anything with Andrew Loyd Webber's name on it is exceptional).
May I also acknowledge how incredibly 'sexy' the whole performance was.
Generally I love musicals with or without a plot. (and I'm not even 'gay') lol
I just appreciate good music.

Despite seeing the live production over a half dozen times, and watching it by DVD even more, I never get tired of it. Memories alone causes a tear everytime. The flip side is Rum Tug Tugger makes me laugh outloud everytime...MEOW!!!!

Agree with comment by Orual, below. Disappointing - I wish there was more of a plot. The set and dancing were great, but for me, it needed more.

It was different for me, I've only ever seen Phantom and Love Never Dies on film.

The acting, singing and dancing were all nice but the DVD itself needs a subtitle feature. I couldn't make out a lot of what they were singing about.

Especially in the number, "What's a Jellicle Cat?"

They all sang too low and raising the volume on my TV didn't help.

I also felt sorry for on the actor who played the old leader and had to wear this big heavy fur coat while sitting down watching everybody else dance around in lesser heavier clothing. The same actor is shown in a much less heavier outfit in the opening number and I'm wondering why they didn't have him in that outfit the whole time.

Best musical I've ever seen.
Some people(when the watch it for the first time) may get confused with so many characters being introduced.
