I am a huge fan of Merlin. When I finished season one I had to order all of them ! I am now on season 5 which I believe sadly is the last season. The acting is very good and it is quite humorous. It is so refreshing to watch a show without any swearing or nudity. It is funny and entertaining, definitely worth watching and highly recommended !

This show is interesting and fun. 99 times out of a hundred a production like this would be cheesy and the humor stupid, but somehow they pull it off, and this is the one in a hundred that works. Their is no official version of the Merlin Mythos and this interpretation is fresh and as valid as any other. Am happily watching season 2 now.

After watching the first season of Merlin, I thought the second one, will be a continuity of the first season... Unfortunately NOT... The second season is like second thoughts of a producer... They could just put all episodes (2nd season) in the first season And some episodes of First season in the second one... instead of confusing people...
I got bad surprised, with the last disk from the second season... The 5th disk was just commentaries about the crew and special effects... No end or open END...
The first season was much better... makes you wondering about the second one...

"Merlin" is a spectacular series! This reinterpretation is highly original. It's a very fresh, intelligent take on the Arthurian legend. The scripts provide a great balance of humor, drama, and some modern expressions. The main actors, along with the guests, fit superbly into their roles. I can't wait to see the later seasons. It's just an all-around, excellent show. Cheers to the creators of "Merlin" who have added to the ongoing Arthurian legend.

It's true, the British make better TV. This is not exactly a show for adults, but perfectly enjoyable entertainment. Don't look for historical accuracy :-) but it has a lot more character development than the apparent budget would suggest. I also enjoyed the commentaries; those things are usually boring and too serious for an amateur like me, but this crew had so much fun they never stop laughing.

I just love this show, since king arthur and merlin are the same age there is a bit of comedy into it.

I am in love with this show! It shows the becoming of King Arthur in a new light making it intersting, captivating and addictive. I have seen all three seasons and am impatient and eager for season four to come out this fall. It is a great series which i'm sure you will fall in love with.

Totally love this series, even though it is different than any version I've seen before. Merlin and King Arthur are around the same age,but I still loved it,and can't wait to start watching the Complete Season Two set of discs.

Thanks to my fantastic Lorain Public Library!

Love this series!!! Shows us that Britain produces amazing TV shows - this was way better than half of what's on TV here.

Merlin uses his magic to protect Prince Arthur, and his father Uther Pendragon, magic-hating tyrant. He does so to protect Camelot from twisted magicians and enemies of the king, who would have him and his son dead, no matter the cost. He is assisted by Gaius, court physician, and the last dragon.
