I agree with many of the commenters that this movie had an interesting premise it never fully utilized. You expect death by office supplies and more relatable interpersonal drama and a more satisfying reveal of why this is all happening. What you get is a half-assed conclusion and possible lead up to a sequel. Human nature is explored a little bit but many of the killings are random especially the closer you get to the end of the movie.

This movie was so bad that I watched 5 times. Terrible Film

I'd been looking forward to this movie for awhile considering James Gunn produced it.

However, I found myself instantly turned off by it when the beginning of the movie showed Bogota as a kind of rural city-town.

Having family there, I am sick and tired of Bogota being shown as rural or jungle in films when it's a huge, sprawling metropolitan area.

Am I biased? You bet.

What a disappointment!! It was such a great concept, but the script didn't do ANYTHING to play with office tropes or the cliche interpersonal politics that make cubicle jockeying such a...special...experience. It wasn't the least bit funny--totally unusual for a James Gunn movie to have NO sense of humor--and the death scenes were completely boring. Very little use of "found objects." I was expecting, you know, comically prolonged death by stapler, death by copy machine, strangulation by phone cords, etc. I'm angry about what a squandered opportunity this movie was.

One of the dumbest movies I ever saw!

Kept me watching. You know it is an entertaining movie when it does that. It's been a done before kind of movie but worth a watch for those who dont mind blood & guts.

"office space meets battle royale"...not a bad comparisom. The only thing I had an issue with is that the reason this experiment was done is never revealed in whole. Which of course leaves open the sequel. As a slasher flick it works well. Some fine character actors made the film feel professional. Call it a guilty pleasure flick that is enjoyed best by not trying to pick it apart but instead just sitting back and watching the staff unravel as they try for self preservation..pick out your good guys vs bad guys and favorites and see if you can guess the survivors.

Okay, this is not a film to watch for an in-depth plot with intricate storytelling. This is a slasher film without the villain. And it's fun as heck to watch. It is INCREDIBLY gruesome (I'm stressing this again in case the caps weren't conveying the message strongly enough). But, it was one of the few movies I've seen recently were the characters start up on what seems like a plot-driven storyline, only to be killed casually moments later. To me, that's just awesome storytelling. To others, I can see why they might consider it lazy, but think about what worked with Cabin in the Woods. There were many different paths that this film could've taken, and I'm so happy that it didn't take the obvious one. In short, this movie is gory, bloody enjoyment. So if you're repulsed by that statement, give this one a pass. Otherwise, let your macabre self have some fun!

Even for a slasher movie, it seems a bit farfetched. We mostly made fun of it and pointed out errors.

This movie is definitely good with different camera shots, great camera angles and a good cast with the lead of Mike Pelk (John) being an excellent cast member being able to show a wide range of emotion and the "nobody has to die" cliche. He and the boss Tony (Berris Norris) who later became the villain were the two main cast members carrying the movie. Not to forget Adria (Lendrea Jerez) of course. This movie started off good but ended in a gruesome death where everyone kills each other. This somewhat worked for the movie but slightly ruined the plot. Out of all the genres I definitely wouldn't put it under Horror as there is nothing particularly scary about this film. Other then the psychological factor. It is a good movie that is definitely forgettable.
But that's just my opinion. You could only truly know if you watch the movie yourself. You may enjoy it more than me, but I must say it's definitely worth watching!
Quality (shots, sounds, angle) 8/10
plot: 5/10
experience (was it enjoyable etc) 7/10
overall: 6.5/10
