Two thumbs up! The stories told were hilarious. I watched this with my 16-year old son. A lot of laughs.

I watched this after reading the book. I was curious to see how the emotion and drama developed in the book would translate to the screen - the book wins hands down! The movie omits so much in the book - but still enjoyed the storyline.

It was a phenomenal movie and The Help potrays the way black servants were treated during the '50s very realistically.

Good movie, would recommend it. Wonderful group of actress! But, I did think that in a way the book was much better.

This film exceeded my expectations. I had expected it to be any or all of overly treacly, artificially "heartwarming", or stunningly self-righteous, and it was none of those. A worthwhile story, a good script, and excellent performances.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Putting feces in someone's food is an act of violence and potentially life-threatening, yet it's treated as funny. Could give pranksters, unaware of the dangers of e-coli bacteria, ideas.

Coarse Language: They say a lot of bad words! Like (s- d- h- p-) And a lot more
